Description
Very unusual for me: I tried to keep out the guitar delay as much as possible. So I actually tried to play guitar and not effects... I fell in love with the Vox tremolo and the Vox sound but I am having trouble to achieve that analogue sound. Any ideas of what to do with the mix to give it an analogue sound?

Lyrics

You're in the Grand hotel
The king of the land
The days are passing by here
In wonderland
Innocence you cheek...
It's just a waste...

I shouldn't see your face
It's in the books
This will be your fall from grace
Will you ever embrace
Every day of the week
You're on the winning streak

You hear them scratching at the sinner's door
Is it your house they are looking for?

Why be a man when you can be a success?
Look at Vico Road
See what you posess
Everything you say
The world will know today

You hear them...

Black is not a colour that you do rate
They just represent everything you hate
You couldn't care less about their fate
You don't want them coming through your gate

Very Cool Groove
Good groove, I like the lyrics. Overall mix is good. Isn't there a setting in Ozone 3 to warm up things a bit. I usually pass my guitars and vocals through a tube mic preamp to warm things up before going into the Mac. There are alot of good plugins like URS N series which is a Neve EQ and Waves has a ton of plugins for giving your mix that classic Rock tone.
Thanks Mike

Scratching
Great tune. I like the subtle stuff in the background. Very Soundgarden/Audioslave.
Great lyrics, great melody and feel. This could very well be a hit tune!

Great song....
This is a real grooving tune. DL for sure. For an analog feel I have had some nice success with "PSP Vintage warmer" I also am thinking about getting this too...

Hope this helps although I'm not sure it needs it. The song has a pretty warm feel to it but it might be my tired old ears.
Peace

Scratchin' The Itch
Like the groove going on here. The effects tend to wear on me a little but no denying the fine writing and song crafting you display here.Love the guitar work and all the extra layered elements creeping around in the background.Very well done on all fronts. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't do any music for the past 15 years before but switching to Mac changed my life as I get back into creativity. I met some wonderful talent here and the feedback I received here really helped me to improve my songwriting and also my productio... [see more]
