Lyrics
So give me a little smile,
If you can

and promise
that you stand by me
every time

come on
come on and keep in touch with me
Can you hear the bells?

Oh for godness sake
oh
Can you?
Can you hear the bells?

So give me a little smile if you can
and promise
that you stand bye me
every time

come on and keep in touch with me

--oh for godness sake--

Oh ya I almost forgot....
it's gonna get regular rotation in my Itunes thanks for the D/L.

It sounds really good, although on my monitors it sounds like the mids are a touch on the high side, but it might be my monitors too. Other than that I like it very much.
Peace
Guy

Ghost rock.
Love the wall-of-sound. Drums sound great, but maybe a bit close. Dig that tambourine. I don't understand the phone sound. Could leave it out. And the guitars ... yeah, excellent. Leaving the vocals buried, of course, gives an overall creepiness to the piece, but I can't make out a single word. That's a tough call. Yes, listening to the ending again, the drums are too close, which detracts from the cavernous feel. Overall, this is irresistible.

sisters of mercy
Felt a bit like early Sisters stuff.
Like the playing and feel of this.
Would have liked maybe th vocals just a touch 'un-echoed' and maybe up in the mix a bit more..but don't know if that would detract from the feel of it.
Maybe pan things out a touch just to give a but more space and expanse to the sound.
Just a thought but cool stuff apart from that.
Welcome to MJ's anyway

Welcome!
Great tune - also reminds me of 'Sisters of Mercy' which can only be a good thing. Perhaps the vocals are a bit too buried... but I love the overall wall of sound you have created here.

Spooky!
Very nice.. haunting sound. good work! I would bring the vocals up a bit.. I know you were probably going for the ambient vocals thing, but maybe just raise them a couple decibels.

I really like this!

Nice track!
I'm not great with detailed comments, but since you asked I'll note a couple of things:

Intro is killer, it got me interested and made me want to keep listening. Love the drum beat too. The dial-tone at the very beginning I'm not sure about. I see the lyrics say "Can you hear the bells" Maybe replace the dial tone with a warped-sounding church bell or similar to lead into the song?

For me the tune has an ominous feeling- very cool!

I found the vocals have a lot of FX on them and I can't understand the words.

Again, it's a very nice track- I enjoyed it!
