Description
This was a Karmatoburn track he sent me of which i added guitars and a little bit of bass, the rest ktb made. Thanks John for bringing on the sunshine. All made on the yahmaha SG which i am beginning to find the right sounds with. This is inspired by Ramalana and Snowy White, guitarist that played with Thin Lizzy and floyd, but it was his solo stuff i really liked. Dedicated to lana, thanks babe for all your love.

now i'm gonna have to google snowy and rama and listen to all their music :-) Nice mix Steve, you always strike a super balance to create a bandlike feel. I'd say you're bonding nicely to that SG. Here's to springtime! bring it on.

Snowy
let me know what you think of his stuff, it is all very mellow. Bird of Paradise was one of his albums, and Renegade was the lizzy record he played on. As for Rama, that is an Indian reference to Lana who is my misses. Cheers John, for another gem, i really enjoyed putting this together, it was a lot of fun.

Cool combo.
Groovy piece of coolness, gents. Keys sound great. Drums are right on the money. Your guitar work here has that distinctive tokai sound. Might have liked to hear you open it up a bit, but what you've done is very tasteful.

Nice one. I held back a bit because we reckoned we might try for a vocal so i did not want to crowd it too much. Thanks for your kind words again.

Awwww...
....this is too good. You two make a sweet combination.

I love the sound(s) you're getting from your guitar - very Pink Floyd - and the playing is superb. I like the way that you play with feeling but never with spandex exploding histrionics - you're rocky but funky at the same time and full of sweet soul (OK enough ego boosting).

I could quite happily listen to this stuff all day - really nice track -
Cheers,
Phil

KTB playing once again set the good mood for the guitars, he sent the piano parts after a rough mix, i added the a bit of bass and took out some of the lead, the idea was to get a singer.

Funky Art Rock
Great use of the stereo sound stage Steve. I love the sounds on the guitars and the overall feel of this track. that SG sounds pretty awesome too. I've got a Yamaha SY99 that has these sounds in it, but I never have used it to full effect. In my hands it's kind of a waste, but not in yours my friend.

This is just to cool a great track with a fantastic vibe going on. Kudos Steve,

Ed

This is sounding
great - amazing live feel and spot on production. Lovely musicianship from you both. This reminds me of the sort of thing played before a live concert to get the crowd in the mood for some great music. Bet it would really rock on a stadium p.a.
