Description
THIS is the proper mix for the upload, NOT the one previous. Sorry folks.

The original mix has the drop out and no fade out at the end, i.e. it was not finished. What am I like??????

This is simply a world ambient study in plucked string instruments/effects.

Please let me know what you think of this, the proper version.

Hi Dee.......
I'm glad you liked this, the proper, finished mix. The first upload was definitely not finished!!!

There are more to follow this, in the same vein.

Take care.

Hi.....
Thank you for your kind words......I do try to vary things a little bit. My current obsession is, as you may notice, ambient, and my search is for varied sparklies to enhance the upper register and bring out something of a theme.

Other mixes are already going through the mixing/preproduction phase, to fall off the end of my musical conveyor belt, ready for upload.

Take care.

A study. Ha!
Well, it sounds like you've graduated, sir. I love the chord changes. After listening to your work a lot lately, I'm starting to detect a distinctive Reinholt56 style.

The implied tempo change around 5:00 was nice. The interplay between the high-frequency stringed instrument and the mid-range one was very tasty. Nice work.

Hi Duane........
It's good (to me) that you can analyze and find something that you like about how I've done things. It helps keep me on my toes and also allows me to learn from others. Keep your thoughts coming....

There are hopefully less distinct R56-Ambienteering mixes and more straight-laced Ambient stuff on their merry way here. The next one is a long, slow, more parallel soundscape as opposed to sparklies, and is probably one for relaxing to.

As always thanks for sharing your thoughts. They really help me with my own thoughts regarding this sort of music.

Take care.

I enjoy creating music using computers and 'synthesized' as opposed to 'real' instruments. I have no problem using samples/loops in my music. Everyone does this every time they work with a track. I don't fit in any box and thoroughly enjoy working ou... [see more]
