great song. great recording. i liked the dirty guitars. they kind of sit back there and trip on, like 4 grams of shrooms.....very cool tune. ziggy stardust might want to get back together and steal your ideas...

In
lesser hands, this would be a regular rocker, one we are tired of listening.
But you always turns anything on something special, Tim.
Fantastic transition at 2:17!

Congratulations!

It's so cool imagining you doing this
after having had the pleasure to meet the generous, gentle, mild mannered Clark Kent that you are last year. Something happens when those phones go on and it's always great. Excellent Buttholes break in the middle - actually better than the Gibby gang I saw a few months back.

pushing it too far with a guitar
man i love the attitude of this one - the entire tune has a snarl. egobandit with the fangs out, very cool. this is a very cohesive tune, composition + lyrics. very solid dude, dl'd for when i need to get my mean on.

I always like...
...to hear what you are doing because it is so different from my own writing. You seem to have no fear and there's some basic elements of wild abandon that permeate your work, especially here. Kind of a "I don't give a damn" attitude that throws care to the wind. That kind of freedom is what made Beethoven a star in his day. I think you are creating your own genre here. [What happened in the last 2 seconds?]
Peace.

Hard driving! Great tone on that electric git-fiddle Tim. Cool singing throughout too.

Oh yeh! very cool. Dig the driving drums and the guitar. Ecelent lyrics as well, post them. This reminds me of Jane's Addiction. One of my favorite bands.
Downloading it, thanks for sharing. Awesome jobs. Your putting my work to shame.:-)

loud
a solid rocker - love the familiar lines in the lyrics - drives home to point about "nothin to me"

the tempo change around 3:00 is genius!

and this could be played super loud - like Blue Cheer used to do - you know?

thank you sir

Go, Go Ego!
Egobandit puts the pedal to the metal and drives off the highway of rock and roll. Watch out for that tree!

Kind of had a Spinal Tap feel to it. In a good way.
