If you watch terrestial TV in Sweden you'ld be amazed at the ads: if it's not sites for gambling, it's bottled water commercials .. this got me thinking of the whole gambling with our environment and the 'water on mars?' topic .. and .. ok, ok .. it was just an excuse to sing "M'ars" really .. lol. Enjoy.
A very short 2 minute idea I was mucking around with that suddenly sounded like what might happen if INXS, The Bangles, Megadeth, Traffic, Phil Collins, Bachman Turner Overdrive and Mack Rice converged as a combo .. hmm .. yup, doncha just hate it when that happens??
Pop alternative with a hint of RnB.

I was very fortunate to have I.G.M. volunteer (so quickly after hearing this), to help finish it off. As such, I thought it only fitting he upload the resulting 'extended to song length' version on his account. Please stop by his page and check it (and his other songs) out -> Selling me water (w/I.G.M). So major thanks to Ingo, fabulous additions, I couldn't have wished for better.

i'm hoping i'm first, but i won't bet on it because i have to listen to this sweet thing again before writing this comment...there is so much good (awesome!) stuff about this i don't know where to start. that killer bass, the horns popping in and out, great beats. but man, alan, your vocals on this - each little effect you add and the ones you do with your voice, the way you speak it and sing it - i love every stuttering syllable and then the high HIGH stakes. wow alan. awesome.
