Hey Smokey, This is way cool. I see a line of 4 or 5 guys standing up and playing their horns. I see a wild haired guy at the keyboard. I see a blind drummer whacking the hell out of the drum kit. And I see the audience up out of their seats rocking away. I don't mean this as an insult, but some dynamite marching band would love to have this as their signature piece. Wow! Thanks. where it came from that organ thing was inspired by this video (found while seeking a version of America) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NArOpaKC3E i basically just went nuts on the keys the trumpet was inspired by some vague memory of some disco song with echoey trumpet...
