Nice improv Roxy!

Jack's guitar arrangement is so down homey as it is, but your wonderful vocals/harmonies bring it all the way home.

Hello, Jack
I am so glad you liked this. Thank you for noticing my digging deeper in this one. It's hard for me to let my emotions fly in music because I'm usually concentrating on getting the notes and inflections of the words right. No words, no worries.

Great
Just been listening to the soundbed by itself and it was great to hear what you did with it. Very cool. I think the interplay between the two vocal tracks works very well. Warm and lovely. Your voice is a thing of beauty and the music works so well. This certainly fits the bill; I feel like I'm there. Very nicely done. Kudos. Peace.

an inspiration
I gotta say, you guys really inspired me to get my gear set back up to record after a very long spell of not recording anything new (a year is a long time). Thanks, both of you!

Afraid my effort at playing the harp and singing is nowhere near this level, but my point above is what makes this special to me, thanks again.

So nice of you to stop by for a listen. What's interesting to me is, I see it got a lot of hits, but a lot less listened to the whole thing, and it's only 3 minutes long. I personally like the last half better, and they probably didn't hear that. Oh, well, not their cup of tea, I guess. I appreciate your taking the time to listen to it all. :-)

I don't know why, but...
...my comments didn't register on this number when you first posted it... :( ... what a great little tune. It has such a comfortable, lived-in feeling it...like a number of other things you've recently posted. I hope you will take some time to develop a full lyric now that you have a great tune going, though the piece itself is pretty short, so development will be tough. Glad I caught this number..
Peace.

Hi, Paul
Your comments are always appreciated, so I'm glad you took the time to come back to leave it again. Jack sent me the backing music and asked me to do an intro for the Front Porch collabs, and this seemed appropriate- Good times, good friends, good music. I'd love to hear your version of this. There are others on the Front Porch page. Thank you for your observation. :-)

very cool
what a great piece sounds really good the vocals are right on and the guitar and harmonica are cool as well would sound cool if it kicked in with some drums ,bass, and maybe a little guitar lead nothing too heavy though maybe a soft bluesy one, anyway thats just my take on it. still sounds good the way it is though. like an old friend use to say sometimes less is more.

Lovely!!
This strikes me of a Judy Collins feel in the vocal harmonies and the chord progressions. The performances are full of vibrancy and a classic comfortable folk sound. Another fine tune for the iPod.

Be well,
