well Jack
the finished version leaves a very different impression... so much more complete, and it doesn't "cut the emotional connection" as previously discussed... the performance on guitar is solid and comes across polished ... not "scratch"... this goes a long way toward sitting right in my ear... the doubled vocal really lets your voice land perfectly, and at no time during the entire song am I uncomfortable with the melody... It's od.. I can't put my finger on what seems fixed or different... yet this works so much better for me...

boy do I sound like a snob... but I thought you deserved to know
