Description
This little "intro to nothing" was inspired by some Russian bands from early 70's - yep, we had rock'n'roll in USSR, too!! :) The keyboard and back-guitar play in this tune is simplyfied intentionaly in attempt to mimic those guys. Bass doesn't sound like 70's but I can't stand the true 70's bass. And drums are fake, of course, and don't sound good at all - it's because I'm still totally lost in Logic Express. I had this melody for a couple of days and I didn't really care how to finish it, so I just left it at some point while I was trying to pretend that I'm a cool bassist :)

i'm impressed you're even TRYING L.E. - congrats on that - you're doing well, and this is a fun, if way-too-short little ditty!

LE rules
In real life I'm a C# programmer. This gives me an ability to fully appreciate the complexity and greatness of the Logic in terms of programming talent and sheer amount of man-hours. So, no wander I had to start using it! If I would only understand English music terminology more :)
Thank you!

Way
Way too short, but I really like this. Has the vibe of a movie soundtrack to my ears for some reason! Cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Soundtrack is probably its best description
Yep, I hear something like an old romantic movie theme in it now, too. Thanks :)

Hi mate.
Sounds like a great era from which to draw a musical reference. i traveled with this Russian guy once who was a brilliant didge player. He used to play me some obscure Russian music, which i always enjoyed. Very sweet playing going down here, love the sound of that keyboard, a little bit longer would have been good,
Unique sound.

In the mid 80's I used to play guitar with my band on all kinds of Moscow dance floors until I was 19 or so, dreaming to become the next Ritchie Blackmore or David Gilmour (of course). But life turned out to be quite different. Now, a few decades lat... [see more]
