Description

Thursday marks my one year MacJams anniversary, so I thought I would end this first year the same way I started it. It's been quite awhile since I've posted a solo piano piece. So...here you go. Thanks to everyone here for an amazing first year.

sigh - you did it! and you went with solo piano - sigh - this is GORGEOUS! when you first mentioned the thought of keeping it as piano only i secretly was rooting for that choice - it's beyond perfect this way. shay, this is one of your best, just in the richness of spirit and fullness of your considerably full heart. thank you for your generous words above - and for giving MJ yet another beautiful piece of music.

	*beyond-contented sigh* I too love that it is a solo piano piece. I have spent many hours listening to your solo piano through the years, and while the orchestrations are amazing and keep getting more and more amazing, it is overwhelming what you can coax just from the keys alone.

Another fine work from you Shay. If you wake up in the morning, watch the sunrise this piece is perfect to accompany that glorious moment. If you are experiencing pain, sorrow, or loss, this piece can be like a warm blanket. It can evoke joy or melancholy - either way it has the ability to moisten the eyes - I wonder where inside of you it came from. Reminds me (just a bit) of some of Jim Brickman's work. And I love the Steinway - and you play it with such a light touch - just wonderful. Happy anniversary, it has been a pleasure getting to know you through your music, and I look forward to much more down the road. Thank you for sharing this.

Nice
Sometimes by slowing down you open up the space, and you "see more" where there is less. I like the image on a start trek movie, where time slows and picard and this lady are talking, then you see, so much is happening that sweeps by in the buzz of life, you miss a lot without realizing it. Kind of makes the point. It's nice and sparse. It has great movement.
