It's been a few months since I've had a single night dedicated to music, and this is the result. My apologies in advance.

Tempie and I have had some very interesting discussions lately. He's a bright and funny dude and I don't mind the fact that I've practically co-written every song he's posted here. That's why I love this place...

Anyway, our most recent discussion was about going to church on Easter. As you can imagine it quickly devolved into spending summer on the Lake of Fire. I read Luke 16:19 (it's in the New Testament). The story of Lazarus and the Rich Man. It's a horrifying description of hell that I find extremely frightening. This is a great inspiration for baptism and it was a good inspiration for a song about Hell.

I used a ton of samples from freesound.org (thanks bud and smokeyvw for telling me about it). I used a bunch of kid sounds, even though I don't think there'll be too many kids on the Water Slide on the Lake of Fire!

I downloaded quite a lot of screams, but I think this is all that I used for the "song":

So good to see you back,Its a good thing I dont believe in hell. I really dont think A God of love would create such a place. Anyway who ever heard of spending forever in a place like that for a mere 70 or 80 years of wrong doing. Now that would not be just. Just like in proverb, he is a God of rightousness. Any way Hell is an english translation of the word sheol which means grave so hell is just the grave. Also in Luke 16:19 it is filled with symbolism I mean how could the guy in hell get his thirst quenched by one drop of water. Ok Ok just kiddin believe what you want great screams cool song!

Look at you! Mr Bible reader! Whoulda thunk?! Good for you Tim. 70 or 80 years of wrong doing! That's hilarious!!

The New Testament (as far as we know) was written in Greek. γέεννα (Geenna) is the word used for Hell and when Mark talks about Geenna, he says it's a fire that never shall be quenched. So it's a grave, it's a pit and it has fire!!! I don't wanna swim in their pool. If the tip of a finger dipped in cool water is a relief, I'll spend summer here in the swamp.

And bud's right, I listen to too much egobandit! You're my favorite bass player, so I always wonder if you'll like my bass playing.

picture you've painted! There is a joke about several punishments that you can pick for yourself. Behind one door were people who were up to their necks in waste. So the newly arrived penitent chose that one. Then a whistle blew and someone yelled, "Okay break's over, ...back on your knees!" Truth is we can't imagine what retribution there might be. I've just thought it would be separation from love and peace, for eternity. Many of us have some of that here and that is hell. You made me think. Thanks.

Good to see you back doing some stuff.....and what stuff !!
I was trying to link up your explanation with the music and it seems at odds.
The song sounds like some bizarre kids party to me.
We didn't bother hiring a balloon sculptor or a clown..we just filled the pond with petrol, set fire to it and put a water slide next to it.
The kids loved it !!

Is this piece an allegory of how people walk gaily to their damnation or is it an allegory of howx the lake of fire just feeds a barbecue ?

is hell over the top?
it is a strange feeling, to listen to this. it first creates fear and anguish. then it becomes surreal. then it becomes real again, however it is a different view. it is now a party. people are enjoying a scream. they entertain each other with a bigger scream. a funny face while screaming. many things to scream about, so it is now a good party. what a strange feeling, to hear it now as people enjoying themselves. perhaps it is the music that creates such disorientation. it is a wonderful experiment. perhaps this is a tour boat on the river styx. 0x0

fun track, very contradictory, now i see why you chose that route with spitlogic broken a cappella. You made what sounds to be a horrific accident into a fun loving adventure lol..is this just wrong? maybe..lol, but in any case i enjoyed it and liked the what you did here. Its almost as if this song was done from the devils perspective, you know what i mean? you've found humour and enjoyment in peoples demise. I could see satan watching this happen from his throne with a bag of popcorn and a big gulp waiting for the ship to go down with a big smirk on his face as the souls are filtered down to his lair. Very cool loved the contradiction of the music and content.
