Description
A slight departure from my previous Ambient mixes. This one goes down a hybrid path, where Ambient crosses swords with Techno. It's early days yet, and there's still a lot of room for moving in any direction whatever.
Mix #1 is up on the 'otherside' and the comments there have given me useful ideas for mix #3, later this weekend.
This mix has other top register stuff going on but there is no relief as such in the movement. It's almost parallel and that's what I intended. The idea that came to mind, in my soundscape artist mind, was of slalom and travel down snow, with the pulsing nature of the piece depicting the ski strokes on the snow.
As always I am interested in your thoughts, good or not.

I would ski to this. Love the arps. Have you tried to make the drone a little more string like? Adding a little fizz, maybe alter the resonance slightly would bring it out more, I think. You could possibly add a swish sound to reinforce your snowy theme, a bit of white noise or something, perhaps even a little train like. Hope you don't mind my ideas you always bring out the creative me.
