stir the sh!t
hadn't heard this before...this is like Mike Skinner singing with Led Zepplin. Very cool. love the dirty riff in the verse and the lyrical/vocal styling. I like how the chorus lifts away from the verse. And great solo - that guitar sound is just nasty.

the guitar sound in the solo is a bit nasty but nice!
Dick made this into a great song with his lyrics and vocals.

Grand
Reminds me of an album I have of Grand Funk Railroad from around 1976. I like the slow, grinding rock groove. The vocal (you, Bob?) is a great ride. Is that British accent authentic? Sounds that way. The accent adds a certain indescribable "1964 British Invasion" to your track, which is very appealing. The guitar solo sounds like it has a Vocoder on it, or at least a very talented player who knows how to get all sorts of different tones on his ax -- pedals involved, maybe? Very enjoyable track.

Bob Rodgers said 207 days ago (April 29th, 2009)
Thanks John!
The vocal is not me, Dick Langford (DWL) sings the vocals and he composed the lyrics for this song.
It was an instrumental that I posted some time back and Dick kindly completed this for me with his vocals. I'm really pleased with what he did here! I also love the way Dick sings this with his great vocal style and wonderful British accent, it is very appealing!
I did not use a Vocoder on my guitar solo, I used my Line6 Podxt pro with just a slight distortion sound that was tweaked from one of the presets and a crybaby wah pedal.
Thanks for your kind comments John and I'm pleased you enjoyed this song.

Grand Funk Railroad were a great band by the way and one of my favs from the 70's.
