yes They are live drums . Just a bass drum and snare. I worry so much about over producing and adding too much to a song. Im from the school of its not the notes. Its the space between! Thanks Thanks Feter. You listen to everything........I believe you when you say that it has a southern rock feel to this song. keys Extra keys was an idea I had to start. Maybe Ill mess with it some more. But nine out of ten times I dont redo too many songs at home. If I choose them to go to the studio. I redo them. Great great great Hah... deceptively simple. Great wave, esp. on the vox harmonies. Great vocal delivery and nice, clear guitar voicings. It's what I'd like to hear more of, that so many people overlook: reg'lar ol guitar-based pop-rock. Kind of Kinks, kind of early Who ... like one of my favorite songs of all time, "Happy Jack." space between has a great 'cross canadian ragweed meets dylan' feel...cool break/chorus - i'd bring it back a time or two. Cool piano riff. Definitely spice the drums up - this tune seems to want some barroom crashing drums.
