Description
A little more than a year ago I was having difficulty with my hand, and I could see that I won’t be able to play this stuff forever... I’ve been recording some of my more difficult music... stuff like “the clap”... (Steve Howe)... which I can’t post here... I’m really not doing it to post. anyway. just so that someday I can say “see I used to play like this” oh well... time is racing by, and my oldest son will be in his 20’s in less than a month... and just yesterday we were watching him learn to walk...
This is one of those songs that I can only play when I’m on my game... It was written by my good friend Wayne Scott Farley... We traveled together through the 80’s and he is one of my mentors... Wayne showed me what is possible, and not just musically...
I played this song at Danes’ baby dedication, (the Protestant equivalent of a christening I guess)... it seems like only yesterday, and it brought down the house... thanx Wayne...
We’ve had 2 days of rain here... so I took myself into the studio for some uninterrupted time.... I haven’t been creative enough as of late to even move toward anything new....
google Wayne if you want a treat...

Lyrics
Good morning you rascal do you know who you are?
You’re my day spring. You're my morning star.
good morning to you... good morning to you
Blue skies open your eyes. Fill my child with cheer.
Goodness gracious, there’s nothing to fear.
good morning to you.... good morning to you
Come, come my son... see what dad has planned for you.
Run grab your hat we’re a team and you're at bat.
I’m rootin' just for you!
Hello my children all over the world.
I’ll be with you as the years unfurl.
good morning to you.... good morning to you
good morning to you.... good morning to you
You’re my day spring. You're my morning star.
good morning to you... good morning to you
Blue skies open your eyes. Fill my child with cheer.
Goodness gracious, there’s nothing to fear.
good morning to you.... good morning to you

Run grab your hat we’re a team and you're at bat.
I’m rootin' just for you!
Hello my children all over the world.

good morning to you.... good morning to you
good morning to you.... good morning to you

have all the extra vocals parts when you did the dedication? :-) Scott, too cool. Love the rhythmic intricacies and the vocals are just outstanding. Speaking of Howe this has some definite Yes like overtones, I can see the influence in the playing and the vocals. Well done sir.
