Lovely Truly lovely. This a real grooving, beautifully sung track. The lyrics are funny and warm and filled with true to life images and scenarios. a loving slime? Yay, good to see you back, Miché! absolutely wonderful musicianship, writing and playing and singing. Not so keen on the lyrics... don't get me wrong, the writing was awesome, kept me on the edge of my seat... and here I was waiting for the O'Henry shoe to drop at the end, that it was somebody else's diary, or something... but no, you leave us there, eek! I guess it is because it is such a personal rendition, it makes me personally anxious. Great man!!!! There are many good songs here at MJ, but I think this was the most perfect, best played song that I`ve heard here. It`s amazing how you create such a realistic live feel. Drums are samples? Your voice reminds a little bit of Al Jarreau, which is great in my book! :o) Harmony vocals are really top notch. Very exactly sung. Is this a woman`s voice? Sample? Love it This is some of the best music I've heard in a long time. You have a unique and wonderful sound... I am particularly captivated by your guitar playing... some very cool flamenco things happening, and the whole thing makes for a very inventive counterpoint to your singing, which is great. Good story telling You have some story to get across, but what makes this song work for me is that you don't forget about the musical notes. (Without an interesting instrumental part, I always wonder "who doesn't he just write a poem and be done with it?") I love that fretless bass, and the percussion is very creative. Folkie out of the closet! Sweet!!! This is excellent. Love the percussion and the vocal is perfect. The fretless bass is a great choice for this tune.
