Description
A timely reminder. The photo of spontaneous busking with my wife and daughter and a lot of lovely strangers was taken at Spring Harvest where I first heard the song which was written by Rob Marshall.

I am not
in the slightest bit religious, but appreciate how well written this song is. Great performance.

Many thanks, Roxy! The guitar accompaniment is quite thin because I'd intended recording the song with a fairly full arrangement but all I could manage in the end was a single harmony. It needed simplicity! (How often I have to learn that lesson!)

The words
are great and the singing heartfelt and beautifully emotional, but the lovely chords and melody are wonderful too.... very listenable indeed

You're right about heartfelt and emotional, M. As I recorded the song I felt a real sorrow that so many lives are spoiled needlessly. You can hear my voice catch as the enormity dawned on me as though for the first time. (I didn't think I was going to get through the second verse!)

One of the good things is that there are many more people about who are decent and kind and generous with their words and actions. Whether they're 'religious' or not they give hope to us all.

Thanks M.
