Description
Yep, more soaring music. This song's creation was inspired by the soundtrack from the sci-fi movie "Sunshine". And if you put 2 and 2 together, you have to come to the logical conclusion that I watched this movie...one evening last August! Also you may notice these song titles lately (on my more recent completions - this song is my most recent) are not named with a soaring theme. After "Groovy Glidin" my wife threatened to leave me if I named any more tunes like that (the song I am currently working on I originally titled "Rockem Sockem Soaring" - I guess I better come up with a different title before I release it!).
Anyway, for those of you who wonder if I am ever going to complete this project, keep in mind I needed to come up with over 60 minutes of music and this song puts me at 55 minutes. We hope to release this video by the end of summer so the end is certainly near. This project has not only been fun, but it has reminded me how much I absolutely love composing, and having a project like this to write for has been a tremendous experience. Presenting some of the music here at MJ has also been a very rewarding experience, and to those who have supported my endeavor - you have my heartfelt thanks! A super special thanks goes to Michael House, who takes time out of his own extremely busy life to master my tunes (I don't know how he does it, but I am sure glad he does!), so hats off to you my friend!!
Please have a listen and I hope you enjoy this piece. I am always interested to know what you, the discerning listener, think, so please let me in on your thoughts, good or bad, and as always, thank you for stopping by for a listen.
Hasta la vista.

Lyrics
make up your own!

Calchas
Emotively lush beginning...Then that sparkling piano comes in and the sonic ascent begins...a leveling off as that magnificent electric guitar wafts along...Next a powerful sonic build-up yields another variation on the main theme with more soaring lead guitar riffs. Tune winds down beautifully...But SURPRISE! Comes back strong for one last assault on the emotions, and then nobly fades away.
Man O man is this good!
Be well friend!
