Touching. Beautiful piano and wonderful vocals.

On a technical note, I would have liked the voice to somehow cut through the mix a little more, to hear it even better, more clearly - by perhaps bringing the piano a tad down prior to the ending part ? Or something about the EQ ?

In any case. A beauty. Thanks for sharing !

What a...
...gorgeous tune and beautiful arrangement, Gail. Your piano score is wonderful with tastefully constructed cadences and an independent melodic line that just flows ever so gently through the whole composition. I, too, would like to hear your vocal UP a little in the mix. You have such a pretty voice. Don't bury it. Vlns: think of playing them perhaps LOWER in register to maybe give a bit softer timbre to that voice. ... Just a truly lovely song. What a privilege to hear it.

I am so pleased that you liked this. Your input always means so much to me being the piano playing expert that you are!! As I have mentioned to others, I tried to adjust my vocals before and failed getting them to the right level. Was not trying to hide really, but ended up that way. :) I never have much luck with my string choices, but they will have to do. I will try the lower register next time. This is wonderful Gail... not only is your voice so perfectly gentle and emotional... but you also present this in such a memorable melody...
