Description
Mid-Tempo Rock song I wrote after a ride on the train over to Long Beach, CA. I'd had a nice discussion with a guy who appeared to be a member of a Latin gang.

As we talked he told me that after hearing my music he got the idea that he wasn't treating his girlfriend too well. I told him if that's how he felt, it was probably true.

This would give birth to the idea in this song that no matter how cold the world can be; or how big, bad and tough we try to be outwardly, often we are but scared little children inside.

Nice tune
I really like the lyrics, especially when taken with the back story for the son's inspiration. Pretty catchy chorus. I like you vocals. Good stuff.

Your voice is a rare talent, rings loud and true, and a fine bit of poetry in the lyrics. You're really good! Where have I been? Glad to find you here. Finally I woke up!
