State Trooper

Description
Some number of years ago...at a private party here in Sonoma, I had the opportunity to play along live with a couple of fellas who go by "Fidget & Groove" (One is my brother, the other his friend Bill, I've never been sure which one is Fidget and which is Groove). This is a loosely improvised version of "State Trooper", F&G style recorded live from a portable DAT deck sitting on a coffee table.

Not to be taken
too seriously, that's for sure. They invited me to play a little guitar...living room, big house, funny crowd. It was a riotous evening. Not sure I dare post more...

cool party
It's usually rather in a late stage of a party when these things starts happening. I think it's ultra cool to get people involved in the house band. I always have a set of rhythm instruments laying ready to hand out to my guests. Some hand drums, shakers... This recording could be from one of these happenings. You sound like you had a great time:)

Thanks for sharing.

harp right...
wrong song. There are a few others on that particular evening that are damn funny, one I recall I was playing the harp, but it wasn't this one...just guitar.
