another side
of the Z'ster I hadn't heard before. Dang, you can play. There's an inner groove to this that would be right at home on an EWF album. Very cool progression, and the tones!..yummy. btw, did you play the bass?, its got such a nice tight wound sound to it.

Thanks John
If I wasn't so impatient I should have sent this to you to add the keys. The MIDI bass is a combination of Logic Sculpture Bass and a Slap Bass from GB within Logic.

This is a bit different
with a bit of a jazz funk feel to it, that bass riff is sweet, and that guitar is sounding oh so good. It does swing in the same vain as your collab. Clean production, everything is in the right place and sounding polished.

I think you have an unfair advantage.
A guy who can play like this shouldn't also have the talent to make software drums and bass sound so good. Well, fair or not, I wouldn't have it any other way. So much personality in your leads, and the rhythm guitar sounds great, too. This makes for a nice counterpart to Where's the Primer.

Funny, I've said the same thing about the sound of the bass in your songs. The drums are straight up BFD loops with a few tweaks. I love the sound of BFD but they can be very temperamental.

Drum
Cool intro with drums. Add the bass and the rhythm guitar and this is the perfect set up for your signature guitar leads. Almost a jazz fusion feel here, real classy playing.

Thanks

Where's the Primer?
Where is the Primer? Damn Z, this is tasty. Was thinking back on the early Virtual Garage days. One of your songs was on the very first show...what a long strange trip it's been.

Yeah, the good old days of VG. I still have your shows archived for safe keeping and remember the sound track you used for the DVD. Those were my first ventures into the internet music world.

Guitar is great
Dude, your guitar parts and sound are great...I like the drum lines with the bass, but the sound of them to my ear is too manufactured, for lack of a better description. I would love to hear some real bass and drums backing up your killer leads!
