snazzy !
I love the guitar licks and the bass in this they are deep and very aquatic. It isn’t until the mid of the song that the dry beat start to fit in and function with the rest of the song. When it does it becomes a laid back kind of toon. It does have a very high quality production, and that is music to me ears. Thx for sharing it I enjoyed it very much.

Dub, huh?
Cool, Joachim. Sounds great. This sounds like Elaine danced on Seinfeld. Thanks.

How could I not come to listen ...
to a song with that title?

This is excellently put together. Punchy - banging even - but it thumps along with such confidence. I'm not an expert in this genre by any means, but my ears tell me this is top notch stuff - really enjoyed it.

EUK Drums are Terrific
These projects really help me. I can hear great drums sounds in these collages, how do you get that crisp snap? Making work harder is helpful, thank you for your posts. I'll be back...

glossy
love the subtleties (how spell you this?) in the intro. this track would even survive without the excellent drums. Amazed by the detail and quality of your production. timing is perfect - how much of that is midi and live recording? rare to find this kind of polished and multi-layered ear candy on a free site! what's your background, would be surprised if you did this just for fun and for yourself?! this is seriously good stuff.

cheers
haha, thanks man. Well, I do try to scrape a living off of music. it sort of works. sometimes. There is no MIDI, it's all sampling and FX, and I make most of my samples myself.

crocheting the bends
This is positively weird in a delicious way... nice percussive elements and rhythms, and the wild "wows" and flanged backward stuff that pans through my brain in headphones is disorienting and makes me feel I need that decompression chamber after I surface from this. I like how you pass that little riff between instruments. As others have said, very polished.

Is this dub?
Sounds a bit more jazz fusion to me. But then labels are just labels, aren't they?! Anyway, the key thing is that I like this a lot. Might you be interested in airplay on my podcast music show at some point?
