Description
The year? 1977, 1978, 1979. During that period I played in a pit band. My favorite play during those season was Sugar (later to be the movie "Some Like it Hot" with Marlin Monroe.) The experience of playing with strings and horns is chilling. An artist that always captured that feel was Tito Puente. I wrote this song in 1998 with my Yamaha PSR530 to capture that sound as I remember. The original audio tracks are lost, but some how the audio for part of the percussion track and the guitar still remain. The rest is the original midi tracks.

Cal Tjader?
Your timbale parts are pretty simple, but that vibraphone is lovely. Great tune.

Mr TJader
More could have been done with the timbales, but I did not want to take away from the original audio track. Mr Cal jTader another one of the great Latin band masters!

Thanks for your good review. I played all the brass in school, the horns are software patches I developed to sound like the real thing. Feel free to stop by again . . .

This is
great, it reminds of being a kid and listening to my parents James Last albums, there was always a track or two like this which resonated with me even back then when it was just te music and none of the associations ...such as cerveza...tequila or chimichangas !! Great track you have created Thanks . Jarvoid
