Description
I asked a few friends for some suggestions towards me writing a song.. of the 8 people that gave input 60% of them had the same idea about life`s ups and downs, where life is going great them it all falls apart.. I saw waves within to story that started unfolding, from there I started reliving my days at sea fishing out of Canso and Country Harbor, the Biggest waves I always got to see during the Wheel Watch , where we`d take two hour turns staring out the front window of the wheel house looking for debris during HIGH SEAS.. Pat Fougere got me my sites at CANSO SEAFOODS each time.. the first time, he had me a site within four hours of me dropping off my application!! and as I landed he had another boat that needed a deckhand then next day.. back to back 12 day trips.. that was some first experance..!!

Lyrics
your turn to the wheel house, my turn below, as I wake i hear the engines drone..
morning is arriving, a warm gentle glow, yet these wave they shake me to the bone..
yet these waves they shake me.. to the bone....
coffee in the galley ole cooky`s feeling blue
Thers no time to hear a tale or two
the beauty of the morning can make a man feel glad
yet these are the toughest times I`ve had
these are the roughest times I`ve had
cause that same hugh wave that comes crashing down and wearing on your shore
is the waves of promise that moves us forward and into evermore
its all just waves that were riding on
a changing tempest from dusk till dawn
without some pain throughout our lives how could we judge whats right
- Ole man says were jogging another day or so, theres still plenty room inside that hold
I know he must be tired, but he doesnt let iT SHow, a steady course is all he`s ever kn own, a steady course is all he`s ever shown...
all the boats around us they play a simple game, they dissapear and then there back again,
HERE THEY rise upon a wave and let us see their light, then once again go hidden out of sight..
FEELS LIKE A MESSAGE OF MY LIFE R FEELS LIKE THE LESSONS IN OUR LIVE
cause that same hugh wave that comes crashing down and wearing on your shore
is the waves of promise that moves us forward and into evermore
its all just waves that were riding on
a changing tempest from dusk till dawn
without some pain within our lives how could we judge when times are rightzz
once again we see the lights we`ve made our way back home,
the quota`s full its time to rest we`ve weathered out the storm..
patty asks me back agin he said a job well done
all I wants to be back home to see my wife N son
we`ll all be riding on the waves ur ups and down from day to day...
our ups and downs from day to day... our ups and downs... from day to day...
