Description
This the result of a few months of work last year.
SOFTWARE USED:
Psycle (sequencing)
Zerious Vocoder
Maxx Claster's Toxic III (for the instrumental parts)
Audacity (vox recording & editing and all other editing/mixing)
This began as just a vocoder test, but when I heard how good it was turning out, I just kept going with it - improving and refining the technique (which is why the voices become somewhat more intelligible as the piece goes on.) This also explains why the instrumental intro is missing: I started with the first alto choir line. Every bit of this was performed by me (yes, even the sopranos) because with a vocoder, you don't have to sing at all. You just 'speak in rhythm,' and the vocoder superimposes your vocal formant onto the (musical) synthesized sound.
Enjoy!!
