Description
Was learning boring fingering exercises on my keyboard on a rainy day and was feeling a bit down so started messing with the ivory's on keyboard to cheer myself up and a this little song was born from that messing around. Hope you enjoy

Nice piece
Nice version of a nicely conceived and executed song. One very minor complaint is the ending. It is such a nice song that it deserves to have a cleaner ending with the last second of the sustain of the piano and strings and the reverb tail intact.

I like...
...your chords...There is a melody out there somewhere looking for these chords. I hope the two will meet up...(Temper the volume so the "rain" isn't always pounding at the same intensity.) Lots of potential here.
Peace.

Process
To be honest this isn't the final piece I am in the process of version 2 of this song with rain sound effects and a mellow violin rift in the background but I wanted peoples reaction to the main basic theme of this tune before I released the final piece :)

It's also been very challenging for me as well because I have only been learning piano for 5 months but it has been fun learning process though.

Pretty
Simple and nice. Sounds good on its own or it could be the beginnings a sweet epic song. Welcome to MJ.

Just beautiful!
Reminds me (very much) of a Philip Glass performance I heard live recently. Wonderfully light, uplifting and aspiring. I agree that the ending is too ordinary for such an evocative theme. Don't mind at all that there's no melody. It's really the simplicity I admire here, you create such a positive emotional space with the variations of your lovely chord progression. Beautiful indeed. And should you ever work on this one again and add a few minutes to it, please don't forget to post it here:)
