Description
This is the second part of my audacious decision to post two songs on the same day! Basically I haven't posted anything for quite a while, so now I'm doing a special-super-deluxe double post! I havent had time to do serious recording for ages, as studies and other bandprojects have take up what little time I've got;) So I'm now going to post two quick recordings I've done. They might not be as 'polished' as things I've posted before, but abit more in the 'spur of the moment!' Here is the first song, Spellbound: http://www.macjams.com/song/52816
This song started (as many of my songs) as a acoustic diddle on the guitar. It was written as a response to some things that where running through my head. I recorded this version over Christmas, and it has been floating around since. I havent posted it before because I wasn't 100% sure if this was what I wanted it to sound like. I was thinking a more stripped down arrangement would have fitted the song even better. But I finally decided to post this version for now, as it has grown abit on me.
Will be doing quite a bit of recording over the summer, and some of might might just end up here. So stay tuned;)

Lyrics
(Bold Head) Blue Eyes
Bold head and blue eyes
Is this you, can you recognize
Yourself in the mirror on the wall
Standing there looking two feet small
But you try as best you can, and you wonder if I understand
Well, I didn't back then
But now I've been thinking of it again
I am older now
And I've realized how
Near the end you where, and I try not to burst out in tears
It's been a long time
And you're doing fine
And now I see
How strong you must be
To hold on, and be able to move on
The Chiefs 2008

I'm a sucker for those mandolin and banjo parts, especially where you have those haunting back up vocals alongside.
Cool track.
