Description
This is a piece inspired by Chip Davis' "The Steamroller" from Fresh Aire 8. This song has quite a few firsts in it, including my first good drum work, my first (and only) attempt at swing(!) in a tracker sequencer, AND: my first-ever vocal! (Heavily processed, of course. :D) It is also my longest original composition to date. My absolute favorite part is about halfway through, just after the swing section; the part with the big synth lead playing those GORGEOUS, thrilling, dominant-7th arpeggios. Just sublime! IMHO, of course...
