Description
So there I am in High School (oh so many years ago) and the teacher showed us this clip of a man driving a truck down a dirt road towards a house and, in the house, a woman is peeking out the window, sees the truck, and rushes to get the house cleaned up. There was no speaking involved.
The fun part was, there were two different sound tracks. One very suspenseful and the other light lovey dovey type. Totally changed the meaning of the clip.
Now to this piece. A sound experiment.
I was playing with some of the sound effect loops that Garageband has and was just messing around when I got the idea.
Put THREE different basic music tracks underneath the sound effects.

Footsteps Hard Concrete Run
Footsteps Mud Run 02
Auto Operator 03
Impact Fall Roll Stairs
Gas Station Air Lift

Remix Stakeout Bass
Cuban Timba Bass 03

I would love to hear what you think the guy is doing in the different mixes.

Yet interesting. The underlying music absolutely changes the mental picture generated by the sound effect. I'm not sure what that means, but it is interesting. You are a creative soul.
