Description
This song is one of my earlier works for this project. I originally finished this piece over a year ago, and recently revamped it a bit before sending it to Michael House for mastering. This is much more of a mood piece - way ethereal in nature - I was really trying to capture the essence of soaring here. I also thought that as I continued to write music for this project, that this was the type of style I was going to develop. I think in a year my music has taken a slightly different path but this is still one of my early favorites.
Special thanks goes to Michael (mvh3591), again, as he has taken my rough mix and mastered it beautifully. And thank you all who have supported my music on this site with your time, your ears, and your feedback. I take every suggestion to heart so please feel free to do the same here - I love hearing what you think (good or maybe not so good)!
A note about the photo - this was taken at Torrey Pines Beach. While it is difficult to see the plane soaring over the water, I thought the picture was interesting because the shadow gives away its altitude - this plane is flying real close to the breakers, and it is being controlled by a pilot standing hundreds of feet away and above on the Torrey Pines cliffs. Very impressive!
Anyway, thanks for your time, and thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy Soaring at Torrey. [Sorry, Shay, for the long slow fade :)]

to this one. I can hear them in the back of my mind. And this sounds like a dance number. Perhaps, the planes dance on the air? Thanks.
