backing? I suppose you mean all the "stuff" that swirls around the flute... weird echos, he? About the pan flute: I could not find anything better... I've tried to make it sound like something a little independant of the rest(!) Still this song is somehow a patchwork of nonsense but this track is as it is and will most likely stay the way it is. Kind regards, and thx for listening! Dance of the winds The foreground vs. background/reverb flutes are a nice touch to give depth and interest. I quite like the entry of the pad about half way through to underlie the woodwinds. It seems to stay a bit disharmonic for quite a while but then this resolves as the pad dies away. It's a taste thing so take my comment with a grain of salt - I find the changes in tempo a bit too often to really grab ahold of this work, but that could just be me.
