Agree w/ Drakonis Def use this a sketch. Its good but I wouldnt use it as a track to show off your abilities. Like I do this also record something just to show people, but then if it gets enough positive review I go back and rerecord it. I think a few parts deserve a build up. In your "rain" chorus somehow make it more upbeat. LOVE the falsetto though. Try and sing a few more words with that. Honestly I liked that a lot. I think there was a lower harmony somewhere near the begining... but that voice sounded like it was dragging a little bit. Really enjoyed the song though. Like just make a build up in one of your chorus's I'd suggest to give a 'full' feeling for the audience. Nice work! Check out my latest song called Synth/post-hardcore Collab?

nice blues I like this song. Sad and lonely and all the things blues should be. You did a great job here. I'm gonna keep on singin this one....its gonna rain rain rain...I like that line. Let it rain! Very nice guitar tone as others have mentioned. I would work on the mix as it is a bit unbalanced in the levels of the instruments should be adjusted to support whatever you decide as the main thing in the song (i.e. vox or bass, etc.) But I know you said it was a ruff and as a ruff it is very well done. The main guitar line reminds me of a classical song that I can't remember atm..... I think you know the one. But it also reminds me of some classic rock tunes from the 50's like house of the rising sun style. I would love to hear a guitar solo as well. :P Enjoyed it! you got it :-) I think this is an AWESOME blues song, great music idea, super solid (sounds like an ancient classic already), love the lyric direction and chorus. I have always liked your singing voice... however, now that you have sketched this out, and I hear this as a "sketch"... I think you need to get some really solid guitar/drum/singing on this, like NOW! I already hear this song in my head like it deserves to be played. This is worth doing right... we need more build-up toward the chorus, and the chorus needs more harmony-singing (Femme-vox too? Know anyone? Wink) Need to practice the guitar-work, nothing fancy, but good solid playing, good solid singing, hit those notes, but also keep your current very-good emotional bite in your voice... please polish this up! I'd love to hear the next iteration of this. Good to hear another one from you!
