Description
A while ago - sorry for the delay, Victor ! - VicDiesel approached me for a collaboration over what he called, on his post of it, "just some gentle meanderings" - to go to his song, click here.

Although at first I thought I'd simply add some acoustic guitar soloing or such, it took its own life and - expect the unexpected, as someone had it - I ended up adding a lot more, namely. . .

An upbeat track of rhythm guitar slowly coming in ; a mellow track of sitar/guitar soloing in the first part - as I was still in the mood for it after using it recently in my last collab, and post, with Filmscorz ; a track of synth and guitar in chorus in a repeating pattern also coming slowly in, then out and back ; another track of synth and guitar in chorus in a more upbeat pattern, coming in in the second part when the last one fades out ; and finally, a track of electric guitar soloing over that second part.

He selected 'downtempo' as the genre, which I kept, although by now it's more like down-and-then-uptempo ! I also kept the image he used, although she's probably up and dancing with it.

Thanks Victor for inviting my creativity in over your fine mix - and hope you enjoy it, wild, so to speak, as it is.

VicDiesel : Drums (Ultrabeat), synths including bass (all Zebra)
Me : Acoustic and electric guitars and guitar-synth.

Enjoy.

Two minds, one beat
When I asked you to contribute guitar parts to this, I had something in mind, probably closest to the guitar that comes in halfway, but I dont' think I ever spelled that out. I'm glad I didn't because that left you free to give your own spin on the track, including stuff that I didn't anticipate like that sitar. Is that an actual sitar or is that the guitar synth? I like the sound of it.

Thanks man!

Hey Vic
You must have had something in mind - can't be helped. Certainly, if you had spelled it out, I'd have followed on it. I didn't know myself it'd go where it went. Which is indeed - at times anyhow - part of the whole magic of art.

It's the guitar-synth doubled with the guitar sound as I play it - if you pay attention, you can hear it behind the sitar. I like it too, more now that I managed to tweak it to a finer place.

Thanks again, Victor, for inviting my creativity in !

Music is magic, isn't it ? An interface between the visible and invisible. . .

Thanks to Vic to brew his own in which I could add my spice.

And thanks for listening and passing by, T.

Great structure
Very good the game of the battery with the bass one, and as it is introduced harmony and the guitar sliding until the infinite.Of the best thing than it listens

Ah
If by you, you mean us, well, as the blind said, we shall see. As for my own music, there are other songs on my artist's page - of course. And some of the oldest, which we tend to overlook, are among my favorites - like the solo works on guitar. Well, solo, almost !

Thanks for your appreciation, Magnatone
and for dropping a line !

Leave it to Vic to offer breathless artwork, and very stylish music... but the guitar work here really picks up steam through the piece, a very enjoyable listen, both of you! Welcome to Macjams, Bernard! I shall have to try to catch up with your already growing list of music!

Like the way this builds and unfetters itself. Definitely finds its way into the realms of uptempo. Nice work both of you ...

I'd commented on this a few days ago, but now see that nothing registered...
Hummm...
I love the addition of layers upon layers in this song. The guitar lead is just so laid back and mallow-sounding, percussion just cooking behind the whole arrangement and keeping it together...The counterpoint of guitars is a very nice touch, too, but No. 2 guitar gets buried in the mix. I wonder if a solo instrument like a jazz flute or something would help bring out that other voice. Just a thought. This is such a comfortable number...easy to listen to...easy to melt in to. Nice...
Peace.
Paul

Well. . .
It ended up, with my take on it, being quite a busy mix - Victor made a remix of it that breathes more. No. 2 guitar - now, which one would that be. . .

I ended up trying so many sounds with this
- you could well be right.

Anyhow, thanks for your appreciation
and for sharing, Paul !
