A while ago - sorry for the delay, Victor ! - VicDiesel approached me for a collaboration over what he called, on his post of it, "just some gentle meanderings" - to go to his song, click here.
Although at first I thought I'd simply add some acoustic guitar soloing or such, it took its own life and - expect the unexpected, as someone had it - I ended up adding a lot more, namely. . .
An upbeat track of rhythm guitar slowly coming in ; a mellow track of sitar/guitar soloing in the first part - as I was still in the mood for it after using it recently in my last collab, and post, with Filmscorz ; a track of synth and guitar in chorus in a repeating pattern also coming slowly in, then out and back ; another track of synth and guitar in chorus in a more upbeat pattern, coming in in the second part when the last one fades out ; and finally, a track of electric guitar soloing over that second part.
He selected 'downtempo' as the genre, which I kept, although by now it's more like down-and-then-uptempo ! I also kept the image he used, although she's probably up and dancing with it.
Thanks Victor for inviting my creativity in over your fine mix - and hope you enjoy it, wild, so to speak, as it is.
VicDiesel : Drums (Ultrabeat), synths including bass (all Zebra)
Me : Acoustic and electric guitars and guitar-synth.
Enjoy.

When I asked you to contribute guitar parts to this, I had something in mind, probably closest to the guitar that comes in halfway, but I dont' think I ever spelled that out. I'm glad I didn't because that left you free to give your own spin on the track, including stuff that I didn't anticipate like that sitar. Is that an actual sitar or is that the guitar synth? I like the sound of it.
Thanks man!
