Description
Sorry, they just keep coming, and I don't know how to stop it. Heading out-on-the road tomorrow, so I just wanted to post it anyway before leaving... In this song, I felt the lyrics did fall in place. Has a little bit of jazz, russian folk songs, and Mikki in it.

Lyrics
When I was a little Cold War
When I was a little Cold War.
When I was little down on the floor.
When I was little. I cried a lot.
The tears are gone now. I have none.
I am dancing, aware of my faith.
None knows this dance, none knows the plague.
I am dancing the streets, dancing the fields, of Babylon.
I am still little. I won't grow up. (I won't grow up.)
Get back some true love. Get back your head.
Get back your heart love. Share your bread.
When I was little, always so scared.
From neighbors and TV and all that I feared.
When I was little, it wasn't for long.
When I was little, security was shot.
When I was little, time moved along.
To a scary place where none ever got along.
When I was little, they said on TV:
"Anything we tell you Sir, is true, you are free!" ("You are free!")
Kalinka, kalinka, kalinka moya!
Little snowberry, snowberry of mine!

Folky and Jazzy you said it. Love the low key approach to your singing. At points I thought it was a reflective song about your youth but then I thought maybe its asatire on the cold war era between the usa and russia. then I didnt know what to think! well let the listener decide I love a song like that. I could be reading to much into it. All I can say is this is definite favorite!
