Description

The song came from the open Collab that Z293 helped me put together entitled where's the primer?

Anne just took the tune and ran with it. Twirling along the way.

Mike_d then created some kick ass drums to complete that coliseum feel

My deepest gratitude to Anne, Z & Mike for lending their talents

What a Line up :)
I love the play between the bass and drums ....Im just now understanding the majesticness (if thats even a word) of how the bass does what it does in a song ..bass fluid like this seems to just float in a world of its own but still works ...anyway the drums are so well mixed and the guitar is oldschool insanity ....and Anne's vocal the icing on the rock pot brownie ! Great song and colab guys and Girl !

those big gigantic whacking drums are just the BEST thing. put them together with the punchy polka dots of sound at the intro, and you've got a groove that makes a girl twirl.
i like the tension in the music - the synth plays a major part in making that happen. love the guitar struttin its solo stuff - the growly guitar rippin it up after the unexpected but nice touch of flute (?) was niiiice. i think you could boost some of your piano a bit, john. it's too good to miss. what a great job you did putting this all together. gentlemen, i thank you for the swirl - anne

i too dig the big gigantic whacking drums lol. anne is a swirling kind of chick. love that little key riff that comes in at 46 - the fact that it's a cliche stadium type of chord progression is spot on perfect for the big sound of this tune - good call. like all of your recent tunes i visual this one live as I hear it, some huge outside amphitheater. flute solo at 3:20-something is killer. z293 can straight up play some guitar jeesh.

I melt each time I hear Anne pour her magic into a song. Incredibly smooth harmonies. That Z293 knows his way around the frets – nice sound and impressive fast licks. Powerful drums with a sound I'd love to have on my stuff, and they give the song a total make-over from the other version I heard.

You did it again John. You are the collab master, and this shows that sharing your stuff and involving others will most often turn out good. This turned out very good:)
