Cryin Blues

Description
This is a remix on one of the first songs I wrote. Except this time I've had the added bonus of the samplitude multitrack. It's a kind of blues/rock an roll rockabilly type of thing. again just a tune and riff that popped in and woudn't go away until laid down. Hope you enjoy

Lyrics
Saw you leave at quarter past 3
I saw you but you didn't see me
and you were cryin, headin out the door.
cryin cause of what you done and the fact that
you'd been caught.

Things gon past, love was the thing.
Got down on my knee and give you diamond ring
and you were cryin until you were sore.
Swore on your life you couldn't love me
any more.

(Any more than you already did)

Things changed quick I could see in your eyes.
The late nights out and all of those lies
Didn't stop me tryin, to give you my all.
worked my fingers to the bone,
while you were out havin a ball.

Well cry all you want with your crocodile tears
I've cut loose my chains and shed all of my tears
I've put my time in and now I'm free.
So get your ass gone baby,
yeh get your ass gone baby
get your ass gone baby cause your sissters movin in with me.

Gin and tonic interface
Funny that usually makes things sound better to me the danger of course is when things start to look better. always to be avioded if possible. Doff of the cap to you for the double picking. Nay nay sir I insist.

hey there
nice to meet you....always good to have another bluser around here. The guitar in this is very cool indeed, and the vocal sounds very nice too. But man, that drum machine has got to go!...i have used loops from a company called BetaMonkey. They have a very nice variety of good shuffles and such. There are many many options to create a drum track that does more than keep time to digital recordings...the drum track here totally distracts the listener from the really fine picking going on. Do your music a huge favor!!

again, welcome to MJ and congrats on the great guitar playing!

best

I hear what your saying ziti. Thats a big learning curve Iv'e only just started recording in a serious way and one of the bid problems I have is setting up the drum tracts. Trouble is I just like picking the guitar up and playing. I suppose it with come with time. But thanks for the feed back it's what I love abouts this site any advise is given to improve the player. hope to see you around.

I like all kinds of music but I'm predominantly a Blues freak contemporary or traditional although I am a cursed ballad writer and have to record them to get them out of my head. I welcome advice and critisism as I feel thats the way to improve. Th... [see more]
