Description
This is mainly a piano song, but I did add some simple lyrics here and there. It's kind of rough- this is a first recording.
It's about realizing your relationship (meant ambiguously) to someone/thing wasn't quite what you thought it was, and with that kind of realization I don't think many words are necessary. I put more into the instrumental to describe the situation, where as I usually put more into the lyrics.

Lyrics
She's gone, don't fight.
She's gone, close the light.

She was so lovely on that day; I thought I found her on that day. I never found her.

She's gone, don't fight.
She's gone, there's no light.

(I thought I was your baby. I thought I'd be your baby.)

Great song
and a haunting melody. Your piano ability shines through on this as well as your vocal ability. I would love to hear you recorded through better gear. I think your songs and talent warrant it.

Thank you
Do you know anyone who lives in Baltimore who'd let a fellow musician use their recording gear? Or teach how to better use garageband? I'm kind of poor right now so can't afford anything more. But yes I really would like better recordings.

Baltimore.....
Unfortunately, I don't know anyone to send you to in Baltimore. If you ever have occasion to come to New York, I would record you.

Very ambitious,
nice idea melodically speaking, well played.
Would be nice to hear the vocals on a more "relaxed" playback.
The two melodies (singing and soloing) fight against each other in my ears.

It`s always nice in a song to hear something familiar, something that`s heard before, something that`s repeated a few times.
For the singer it`s always good to lean on something and for the song it would be good if the singer let it breathe...

Don`t get me wrong, I like it a lot!!!

Yeah I see what you mean about the singing and piano fighting against each other. Thanks for the feedback. I don't understand what you mean about the familiar thing.... ?

Hello
Thank you... I appreciate that. This song has been the most meaningful for me in the experience of writing it. I really wasn't sure if anyone would like it but I knew I had to keep writing it for how the experience was affecting me deeply. Perhaps you can relate to such things.

Genuine sound
Full of honesty. You play so well. Enjoy this immensely. Does have a demo quality concerning the recording but I think that makes it even more charming.
