Description
Just posted because one of my bands, Las Bragas, did it's first gig in 10 months this week (no rehearsal of course) and the magic was still there (plus we got paid and asked back!)
We recorded this for a demo a few years back. Not sure where the tune comes from - we say it's Russian (but it might be Greek) and indeed we may have stuck two tunes together - if you recognise it (or them) please let me know.
Be warned, it gets a bit wild at the end...
KK
Gaz - bass
Jim - percussion
Eddie - guitar
Darren - drums
Me - mandolin

This is to me both Greek and Russian, a bit of Kalinka, but also a portion of Greek folklore. No matter what, It's very good. You do it your way or any way, and that's what's counts. It's also very gypsy by the way. Bulgarian, or even Middle East... There we have it! People can get together, through music, through negotiations and love... I love your take on this topic, wonderful!!!
