Lyrics
Here we are at The Blue Bird, The Blue Bird Cafe.
Were people come from miles and miles away.
To play and sing at the Blue The Blue The Blue Bird At the Blue The Blue Bird Cafe.

You can play and sing, let your talent take wing.
You can be young or old have wealth untold
You can be hurt in love, sing as gental as a dove.
One thing that hits you right on the chin.
It gets so packed you can’t get in at the Blue Bird Cafe.

I’ve never seen so many guitars, at a place to Pick.
That got Santa Cruz Guitars and those gibsons look so fine. Even those Taylors look mighty slick.

The Blue, The Blue, The Blue Bird, at the Blue, The Blue, The Blue Bird Cafe.

They come from Florida, Gorgia, Well The Big Montana Sky,
Melting words to make a grown man cry.
New Yourk, Kentucky even near the Frisco Bay.
Make no mistake they all come to play.
At the Blue Bird, at The Blue Bird Cafe.

At The Blue, The Blue Bird, At the Blue Bird, Blue Bird Cafe.

Here we are at the Blue Bird, The Blue Bird Cafe
Were people come from miles and miles away .
To play and sing

At the Blue, The Blue, the bluebird at, the blue bird the blue bird the blue bird cafe the blue bird cafe.

Florida, George, Well The Big Montana Sky.
Melting words to make a grown man cry. New York, Kentucky Even near the Frisco Bay.
Make no mistake, they all come to play. At the Blue Blue At the blue bird, the blue bird the blue bird cafe.

Blue Bird, Blue Bird, The Blue bird cafe Blue Bird cafe.

ending slide guitar lead.

Hey Bill!
this is great... Must be done at a different bit rate as the MJ player freaked out... But QuickTime said... there is TheTiler... lets go...

This is wonderful! I'm not used to hearing full arrangements from you with vocals! Very very cool!

Wonderful stuff
Funny, I grew up eating at the Bluebird Cafe too (a Mexican family restaurant in San Diego)! ;-) One nit-pick, it sounds like the guitar is ever-so-slightly behind-the-beat with the rest of the band in many spots. But this is a great piece of music, love the lyrics, singing, bass & drums... your guitar always shines, sounds perfect here.

Drakonis

Great collab Bill
Love the backtracks and pickin', and red's singing is top notch. I have to admit I was surprised by this one though. I'm so used to your fingerpickin' style that you caught me off guard with this full blown production. Sounds great my friend. How about that Bluebird Cafe, a good place to introduce new songs, if you're up to it.

Great job all around, Bill, Red, and Nick.

Great
Great guitar as expected, but what a surprise to hear this full-blown band! A nice surprise, I might say. Very nice vocal by RedthruNhru and the bass and drums are both rather tasty. I like the evocative lyrics - a nice painting of a scene. Very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Sounds a great
place this Bluebird Cafe and certainly a different place to find you musically speaking. Great song and performances by all, but I'll bet you're the best guitar player to play there. Love the way you keep your playing so subtle behind the vocal and yet enough to keep it rolling nicely along, cheers M

Super!
It's good to hear you picking with a band and guest singer.
Great balance of instruments with everything standing clear in the mix.
I would have liked to hear a little more of that lovely slide guitar sound that appears occasionally.
All the best
Steve

So interesting
Bill, this has so many interesting textures, influences, changes that it is fascinating. The melody by itself is different and interesting but then the wandering organ, and floating guitar come and go and make for more sweet listening. Good telling of your experience at the Bluebird and the way you kept it posivive. i would have probably accented the negative and made it into one of my blues. Great job along with you collaborators!

Fine tune Bill
You have assembled a great band here to bring this forth. To me it almost has a folk-rock quality, and the vocalist reminds me a bit of Teresa Doyle. Masterful touch on the guitar, as always.

Be well,
Doug
