The Sound Of Something Burning...... &mdash 01/14/05 - 02:33:12 PM
I love how the song starts high then goes downhill rather than the traditional
form of starting and then building. I think that this structure is one that is
generally more difficult to pull off since it is not one that we are usually
accustomed to. I applaud you in success in this area!

Most certainly you were made to make video game music I am now convinced
after just that one song. Levels are good and dynamically speaking the tune
was compliant and full of substance.

I would suggest that the monotony of the piece by broken just a little bit
more with a "peppering" if you will, of sounds.......ie: bells, sirens, voice
sounds on a cb radio, or even cooler would be like some flames crackling.
That is the only criticism that I have about the song; it could use some spices
or a garnish on top.

I do understand that if this were intended to be video game music, you may
just want to leave it right where it is though.

Nice Work Overall!

Sincerely,
Johnathan J. Stegeman
MidiMacMan.

Not really a video game... &mdash 01/21/05 - 08:23:35 AM
I'd say it's a bit more like synth-pop. With the right vocals
that is. I really like the interaction of the strings and the
lead. Reminds me of the good old days... of what I'm not
entirely sure of, but it does.
