Description
This is an experimental track I did when I wanted to focus mainly on percussion. I've been told this reminds people of Mario Bros™. But for a more creative description, imagine a bunch of woodpeckers going to war and attacking a factory of some kind :)

I love your angle....
Your songs are very "out of the ordinary" - I love them!
You have a knack for pulling it off whereas someone else's
attempt would sound amateur. You have great
engineering skills. Great job!

More change ups
You intro reminded me of oHgr. The drum rolls were a bit
much for me. I would have preferd a more electronic kit
to go with this piece. I didn't feel like it really
went anywhere, the was a slight build, but I think more
change ups are required, maybe even some heavily
distorted or vocoded vocals (think Pierrepoint, Paradox
Effect). Pretty
cool though. Wonderfully engineered.

Reply to both.
Its nice to hear that I'm 'out of the ordinary', because it is important to me
that I have a unique sound. I'll agree with you lseae, in that it could use
some more changing up... I never considered using vocals in it though, but I
can see that might be really cool... perhaps I'll re-do this one down the line
with some distorted vocals of some kind.

Thanks for the feedback, and suggestions! :)

open my head with an air ratchet
skull bongo paranoia inducer, i was looking out the blinds
and through the keyhole. the drum roll thing might work
better with some effects or filters

cheers

It isn't supposed to sound like a typical drum roll... it's a kick not a snare..
That is how I intended it to sound. No FX, just drums.
thx anyway.

Excellent drums....
High points are the low bass drums and the snares. The layering of the percussion kept the song interesting. It did feel a little bit long, though and I think that's because the melodic line didn't change much and the structure, once established, was simply repeated. The synths do remind me Super Mario Bros (sorry). Maybe if you could make them scarier somehow or add some threathing higher-pitched strings or clangs and industrial-ish stuff, the song could generate some good adrenaline. But as you said, the focus was on the drums, and those were excellent.

the sign isn't a joke..
need to wear a helmet for this one! lots of great
percussion, really enjoyed the speed changes in the drum
hits. you could probably throw in a layer of synth tracks to
flesh it out even more. great stuff
