A Time For Reflection

Description
This mix is really the 'Relative Quiet After The Storm Mix' because it is again a piece about the birth of democracy in Iran, and also it has thoughts within it of the so called Union of Mayanmar and the struggles for democracy there, hence the temple bell pervading the ominous nature of the soundscape.

In intent the piece is a moment of repose in a time of upheaval in the psyche of many around the world, for anyone who needs a quiet, reflective moment, or some time to gather themselves together again.

There will be more pieces to follow in this vein.

As always I appreciate your views.

After the storm
Indeed. Your intentions are very well expressed. Hear, hear. Lots of restraint on the arrangement and mix. Well done.

Hi Duane.....
Thanks for your kind thoughts. I think that I'm calming down after the upheavals in Iran and elsewhere enough to think about other music subjects.

Take care.

I enjoy creating music using computers and 'synthesized' as opposed to 'real' instruments. I have no problem using samples/loops in my music. Everyone does this every time they work with a track. I don't fit in any box and thoroughly enjoy working ou... [see more]
