Lyrics
I hear the thunder in the distant sky
I see the lightning and I hear a cry
I do not know if I will live or die
The heavens open and they shout my name

You are Alive
Not a slave
you are free, free to be,free to see
You are alive
Not a slave

Once upon a time I was quite insane
Full of fear,full of pain
Had no home
Could not even remember my name
Then my higher power came to me
Lifted me up and set me free
Broke the chains that shackled me
and he said I will shout your name,
and you will be free....

I hear the thunder in the distant sky
I see the lightning and I hear my cry
I do not know if I will live or die
The heavens open and they shout my name...

You are alive
Not a slave
I am alive
Not a slave

No longer do I live in shame
No longer do I suffer pain
No longer am I quite insane
No longer do they curse my name

I am alive
Not a slave
(repeat)
