Description
I am reposting this with some admittedly minor changes. I took the advice of some feelow macjams posters and lowered the reverb for some parts of the song, and I remixed the ending. My main question now is whether the bass is too loud. It is intentionally loud in the mix, but wonder if that works to the surreal atmosphere I'm going for, or if it's distracting.
Anyway, this is a song I wrote about lost love and video games...or something like that. I got my hands on slightly better equipment this time around so the sound quality should be improved...although I am a bit unsure about the mix so let me know. I am proud of this, I hope you like!

Lyrics
My ears and eyes are burning,
I don’t know what to say.
There’s a giraffe on the boulevard,
coming into west LA.
The Laundromat is on fire,
and my clothes are wet.
Playing Pacman at the liquor store,
sucking candy cigarettes.
She chewed rainbow flavoured gum,
bite my tongue.
Let’s walk along the scattered roads,
talk about when we were young.
Despite my supposed expertise,
and my philosophy degrees,
I haven’t learned enough to see
through the hypocrisy.
Oh oh oh oh
Was it better then?
Oh oh oh oh
Can we breathe again?
The fire siren is swimming
in a traffic jam,
and the light bouncing off the glass
looks like Disneyland.
The machine is flashing
electronic fruit.
And her eyes like space
so far above it’s beyond compute.
She chewed rainbow flavoured gum,
bite my tongue.
Let’s walk along the scattered roads,
talk about when we were young.
Despite my supposed expertise,
and my philosophy degrees,
I've never been in love before
what a strange democracy.
Oh oh oh oh
Whas it better then?
Oh oh oh oh
Can we breathe again?
Oh oh oh oh oh
We were younger then.
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.
