Sorensen the Great
You have such a great sound. LOVE this when it takes off. Actually reminds me of Cold Play of all things.

Excellent, emotional piece.

Dig it Ridd.

Holy shit
that was amazing. Literally awesome. As in it inspired awe. Such beautiful guitar work and a beautiful melody. Then the hard stuff comes in and keeps us all in check. The minimalist lyrics say so much more than what they represent on the surface. This probably tops "Nobody Knows" for me... and you know the inappropriate relationship I have with that song. I quit.

Got dynamics? Hah!
If there were any more dynamics in this tune I'd have a heart attack. I mean that in a good way. This is every bid as good as you already know it is. Additionally, the simple but elegant lyrical concept just hurts me to think about. I remember times in my life when I had the kind of wisdom to produce a thought like that. Man, I need that back. In conclusion: YEAH!

A few words
Sometimes a few words is all you need. This sounds great. The contrast between the chorus and the guitars works well.

soft loud soft loud soft
Hey Ridd,
First of all perfect choice of a photo. The song is expansive in scale and at the same time incredibly intimate. I think Lennon714 said just about everything. I second those emotions. Well done.

perfect
dude this came together quickly because it's perfect - concept and execution, just a stunner. Vox are beautiful, as are organ/strings and those haunting backups that are just barely there wow. everything spot on. my favorite rsorenson in a while i love it man, DL'd.

This is spot-on brilliant Ridd
The simplicity/complexity of the lyric matches the A/B dynamics of the song beautifully. Smart - and rocking.

once again
you know exactly what to do to make a song unassuming, and at the same time blunt force trauma... your vocals are perfect on this, and getting better every song. making me jealous, to be sure. great post.....

two
great soft intro. man you seem to be able to get some great reverb sounds outta garageband. and when the full band kicks in, wow! great mix. that your own beat? really kicks some @$$! then when it kicks it up even a notch further, at the end, well... i love the lead line over the cool progression. nice job, but we expect nothing less from you at this point. :)
