Description
i'm not shure about this song. the recording made fun, but after i had finished the song, the listening was not as good as i have expected. a prog rock song. maybe a bit old fashioned.

This is good.
Maybe a bit of pulling some of the pieces apart a little would give it a cleaner sound. I don't know how to do any of that but believe me I have heard the difference that sort of wizardry makes. You just need to ask the masterful people here for ideas. You will get damn close to what you wanted. It always is better in our heads. This is vibrant and exciting and very engaging. Thanks.

I immediately got the RUSH
sound, then launched into a solo with a Steve Vai kind of tone (circa Passion&Warfare). Vocals are harder to compare to anything but they sound good. Some Dream Theatre like sounds. Plenty of progress-o-mania in here. I bet this was fun. I would like to do something like this one day but it is too hard for me to do all the tempo changes as a solo project with all real instruments and no cut-ups or anything. If I ever get able to do it I will probably just explode. Everything flows along really well here. Good job.

The hard/proggy master at work
I listened to this last night, but I was too sleepy to leave a comment. I'm on my 4th listen now, and I hear more each time. This is so rich. Intriguing series of chord changes. The rhythmic variations (like 1:12) are great. That's the kind of stuff I like. The sequence following 2:24 is a perfect break and segue. The blast-off at 2:56 is a ball grabber (!). I'm always impressed at how you can have such a heavy backing and the vocals are still so clear. The lead from 4:10 to 4:16 is a classic. Beauty. And the dissonant outro -- yes. Fantastic production, Guitar, vocals, drums ... all tops. I heard the Rush influence in the beginning, but there is no denying that this is pure Wummimann. And there's one more thing that's kind of hard to describe --- the lyrics and melody are often kind of melancholy sounding, and they're mixed with this immensely powerful --- triumphant --- hard rock background. That's an unusual effect, and marks well your original style. Tops.

new math
dude this is out of this world good. changes, melodies, playing (that guitar synthy sound in the break at 2:25 is wicked cool). i'd have no clue how to compose anything remotely as technically good as this. no way. man i hope you do this for a living. thanks for the DL, headed straight to the top of my ipod playlist.

great
song.... definitely has that rush, prog feel, with some really heavy maiden-esque/anthrax riffage. i think that sets it in the Dream Theater category. really nice track. i wish i could have heard the vocals more, but other than that, a really nice mix.

This sounds fantastic. I have to listen to your other songs to figure what the hell would make you think this wasn't as good of a listen. Great lyrics. Very, very cool. Wish I could make my songs sound this crisp.

Love it! This is my kind of music.
This is really good stuff. Great mix. The guitar sounds great. Love the tone. I like the arrangement, nice variations in tempo and theme. Very tasteful solos. I wouldn't consider this old fashioned at all.

Very interesting
I like the blend of 70's and 80's influence to a new song. Great tempo changes. That guitar work at 1:00 is great! Top notch vocals as always. Love the break at 2:12! Another hit
