Bud posted this song a couple of weeks ago. We were talking on the phone and I asked if he minded if I played with it, and he was kind enough to send me his original file. This was actually really hard for me to do, as it is a very velvet underground/jesus &mary chain type of affair, and I didn't know what to do with all of the treble. it's integral to the song, but for some reason it was a battle between me and the EQ (i think the treble won). I tried to add some bottom end (since the J&MC never had any), just as an experiment. I actually did this re-mix in my car while waiting for my co-workers. Not much except I changed the synth sounds, added backups, and a ring modulator. My backup vox were done with the pinhole mic, and I mixed on earbuds (in honor of Bud). I probably didn't add anything at all in terms of the song, but I had fun with it anyways. Hope you like Kevin. here's a link to the original by Bud.
