Always...
Such strong vocals. You have a hell of a voice. And some very nice song-writing skills. Great stuff.

Lyrics
Always enjoy your lyrics Steve and you are one of the few artists that doesn't need to print them, such clear diction.
Thanks for another download.

little indie guitar pop number
man what a great lyric to open this up, "i see you smilin'/that means trouble" - honest and human dude, very cool. your vox and guitar are distinctly laid back and smooth, smooth. Big surprise on this one is the GREAT solo you end with - like somebody yelling "play some skynyrd" at a david gray show. really dig it.

Loved the ..
riffing mixed with over-laid strummed, dreamier chords .. a little different... and the harmonised riffing touch was great too. Short and sweet little solo .. that did make me think of L. Skynard a little too- I liked the "your no beauty, your more of an eye-sore" and it's rhyme with "jigsaw" too in the lyrics :)

Super nice sound! Love the guitar riff - one of your best. Vocal is again top notch! Good one! But hey where are the lyrics - love to read along.

I hear Moby Grape and Quicksilver Messenger in the guitars (which I love). The vocal so smooth and assured. Nice package.

Cool stuff
Love the chordal movement here and the walking idée fixe. I'm with others here that your voice is very clear and uniquely "you", pure tones and all. The quirky lyrics are fun.

Sounds like you programmed these drums top to bottom, maybe you developed something based on an existing loop? I like the variations. The drums are just a smidge too far back and a bit trebly for my taste, but then again, I'm a drummer, so my opinion doesn't really count. They do have a good stereo spread and their own space, frequency-wise.

Thank you for moving this from the HD onto MJ!
